They make baking cookies very easy, but if you are looking for a true chocolate chip cookie, try my browned butter chocolate chip cookie, it is my favourite. With minimal cleanup and straightforward steps, you can quickly whip up these bars whenever a craving strikes. Simply mix all the ingredients in a single bowl, press the dough into a pan, and bake to perfection. Furthermore, this recipe is ideal for busy days or beginner bakers, as it delivers soft, chewy cookie bars with virtually no hassle.

- Bob’s Redmill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour
- Baking Soda
- Corn Starch
- Salt
- Melted Butter
- Light Brown Sugar
- Sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla
- Chocolate Chips

Storing

To store gluten-free cookie bars, allow them to cool completely before transferring them to an airtight container. You can store them at room temperature in a cool, dry place for up to 3–4 days.
For longer storage, you can refrigerate the bars in an airtight container for up to a week to maintain their freshness. Alternatively, if you want to keep them even longer, freeze them for up to 3 months. To do this, simply wrap each bar individually in plastic wrap and place them in a freezer-safe bag or container. When you’re ready to enjoy, just thaw them at room temperature, and they’ll taste as delicious as the day you baked them!

Gluten Free Cookie Bars
Ingredients
- 270 Grams Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour
- 5 Grams Baking Soda
- 8 Grams Corn Starch
- 1 Gram Salt
- 170 Grams Melted Butter
- 200 Grams Light Brown Sugar
- 133 Grams Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 3 Grams Vanilla
- 200 Grams Chocolate Chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Line a 8”x8” baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large bowl, mix together the melted butter, sugar and light brown sugar until it is well combined.170 Grams Melted Butter, 200 Grams Light Brown Sugar, 133 Grams Sugar
- Stir in eggs and vanilla until combined.3 Grams Vanilla, 2 Eggs
- Add in the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined.270 Grams Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour, 5 Grams Baking Soda, 8 Grams Corn Starch, 1 Gram Salt
- Gently fold in chocolate chips. Pour the dough into the prepared baking dish and place into the oven.200 Grams Chocolate Chips
- Bake for 30 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center. You want it to be set with a little bit of crumbs. Remove from the oven, wait until it is fully cooled down to enjoy.
