Few desserts capture the taste of summer quite like a peach crisp. Bursting with sweet, juicy peaches and topped with a golden, buttery oat crumble, this gluten free peach crisp is pure comfort in every bite. It’s the kind of recipe that feels rustic and homestyle, yet it’s elegant enough to serve at a dinner party with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
What makes this recipe a favourite of mine is just how simple it is. You only need a handful of pantry ingredients. Along with a pile of ripe peaches, and about 15 minutes of prep time before the oven does the rest of the work. Whether you’re using fresh peaches at their peak or frozen/caned ones when you want a taste of summer any time of year, this crisp is always a hit.
