Fudge center
This is not my first brownie recipe, it is my second. There are so many variety of brownies to make, it has endless options. My first brownie recipe is a classic, crackled top, thick and delicious.
However, these brownies in this recipe are fudgy with gooey chocolate chips throughout.
Ingredients
This recipe uses ingredients most of us have in our pantries.
- Bob’s Redmill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour
- Chocolate: These brownies use both chocolate chips and chocolate cocoa powder. This gives the richness these fudge brownies deserve.
- Baking Powder
- Butter
- Sugar: Both white and brown sugar are used. This helps get the crackled top along with the fudge center.
- Eggs
- Vanilla Bean Paste Or Vanilla Bean Extract
- Salt
- Vegetable oil

How to make these fudge brownies
Brownies are easy to make. You want to make them when you are having a craving for dessert, but do not want to spend a lot of time or effort into making it.
These brownies are created to be quick to put together in one bowl, and being able to enjoy in no time.
I have used these brownies to break up and put into homemade ice cream. It kept the richness, fudgy brownie and froze beautifully.

Storing
Brownies are always the best when eaten warm. If you do some some leftovers I would put it in an airtight container for a couple of days.

Gluten Free Fudgy Brownies
Ingredients
- 225 grams Butter
- 15 grams vegetable oil
- 250 grams sugar
- 220 grams brown sugar
- splash vanilla
- 4 eggs
- pinch salt
- 125 grams Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour
- 85 grams cocoa powder
- 200 grams chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F
- Prepare an 8×8 square baking pan with parchment paper on the bottom and sides.
- Melt the butter in a heat proof bowl in the microwave for 45 seconds. Check to see if it is melted and then add more time.225 grams Butter
- Add the oil and sugars to the melted butter. Whisk to combine.15 grams vegetable oil, 250 grams sugar, 220 grams brown sugar
- Add in eggs and vanilla and whisk until lighter in colour.splash vanilla, 4 eggs
- Sift flour, cocoa powder and salt into the mixture.pinch salt, 125 grams Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 Gluten Free Flour, 85 grams cocoa powder
- Fold in 3/4 of the chocolate chips until everything is just combined.200 grams chocolate chips
- Pour batter into prepared pan and top with the 1/4 chocolate chips.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. This will create a fudge texture and the middle will be set to touch. If you would like brownies more like cake, then make them until you insert a tooth pick and it comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes and then using the sides of the parchment paper, lift it out and put them on a wire rack to cool.
