Why I Love Costco for Gluten Free Shopping in Canada
I often get asked what I could possibly buy at Costco when it is just my husband and I. Well besides paper towel, toilet paper and dog food, there are a lot of gluten free products I love to buy. Not only can the price not be beat, it has some of the tastiest gluten free bagels I have found. Plus, I also live close to a Costco Business Center so it increases the options such as bulk gluten free soy sauce or baking trays (I know they are not gluten free) for ~$6 each. Not every Costco in Canada is going to offer the same products, but these are my favourite ones, so it might be worth ordering the ones you cannot find locally online!
Enjoy the list below of my favourite things to buy at Costco that are gluten free. Check each and every package to ensure it is still gluten free. Tell me in the comments below if you have any other favourites.

Snacks and Ready to Eat

Chips
Product Name: Kirkland Signature Organic Que Pasa Tortilla Chips
Found: Regular Costco
Certified gluten free, these chips are delicious especially when paired with salsa! You can also find these Que Pasa Tortilla Chips at most grocery stores however the bag is not as large as the Costco one.

GRANOLA bars
Product Name: Kirkland Signature Nut Bars
Found: Regular Costco
I have tried a lot of granola bars, especially when traveling as I always need to keep snacks in my suite case or golf bag. These bars are certified gluten free, not too many seeds and delicious.

Dried Fruit and Nuts
Product Name: Yupik brand
Found: Costco Business Center
The Yupik brand is found at the business Center, offering you gluten free choices from any kind of nut, or dried fruit you can think of. I usually use these for Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Homemade Granola, or White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies to name a few.

salsa
Product Name: Kirkland Signature Organic Salsa
Found: Regular Costco
Two pack of salsa that is not too watery, not too chunky, and just the right amount of kick (and I am not a fan of spice).
Frozen Favourites

gluten free pizza
Product Name: Sabatasso’s Pizzeria Gluten-Free Thin & Crispy Crust Pizza
Found: Regular Costco
I have tried a lot of gluten free pizzas, some being better than others. This two pack from Costco is not only the same price as one pizza at the grocery store, it is delicious. It is just a cheese pizza, so you are able to add whatever toppings you would like, or keep it plain. It also heats up in the air fryer or microwave the next day very nicely.
Bread

gluten free bagels
Product Name: The Grain Escape Gluten Free Bagels
Found: Regular Costco
These are the best gluten free bagels I have found. You can eat them untoasted, or toast them up. They do not crumble apart, and are the size and thickness of a regular bagel.

gluten free bread
Product Name: Little Northern Bakehouse Gluten Free Bread
Found: Regular Costco
They sell two different kinds, “seeds and grains” and “whole grain wide slice”. I prefer the seeds and grains. It toasts up beautifully, great for sandwiches, toast or grilled cheese. It does not fall apart untoasted or toasted.
Baking

gluten free flour
Product Name: Ardent Mills Gluten Free Flour All Purpose Flour
Found: Costco Business Center
This has to be the number one reason to get a Costco membership – the gluten free flour. This 25lb bag is half the price as the competitor flour like Bob’s Red Mill 1-1 Flour. Ardent Mills Gluten Free Flour has xantham gum in it, so it can be used like a 1-1 flour. I have used it in all my baking and get the same results as Bob’s.

gluten free oats
Product Name: One Degree Organic Sprouted Rolled Oats
Found: Regular Costco
Certified gluten free oats are perfect for Oatmeal Chocolate Cookies or homemade Granola. It is a great price for the large bag of gluten free oats.

Almond Flour
Product Name: Kirkland Signature Superfine Grind Almond Flour
Found: Regular Costco
I have tried a lot of almond flours over the years when making macarons. You want one that is very fine, but not oily, and the Kirkland Almond Flour is my favourite.
Pantry Staples

Gluten Free Pasta
Product Name: Rummo Gluten Free Pasta Variety Pack
Found: Regular Costco
If you can get your hands on this variety pack, it is a great deal. I saw it hit Costco’s in Ontario first and was very jealous Alberta had not received it yet. Once it did I was able to get a box. It comes with two package of three different kinds.

Gluten Free Soy Sauce
Product Name: Kikkoman Tamari Soy Sauce
Found: Costco Business Center
This is a hit or miss item at the Business Center. Sometimes I go and it is there, and sometimes they replaced it with a gluten one. If you can find the gluten free soy sauce at the business Center it is great news. I buy it and fill up my container I keep in my pantry. It is a lot of savings from buying it at the grocery store.

Gluten Free butter Chicken Sauce
Product Name: KFI Butter Chicken Cooking Sauce
Found: Regular Costco
This comes in a two pack. It is a bit larger of a jar than the ones at the grocery store. It is a delicious butter chicken sauce, especially when paired with homemade naan bread.

hashbrowns
Product Name: Golden Grill Hashbrown Potatoes
Found: Regular Costco
Shredded hashbrowns that you just open up, add hot water to them. Then you wait for them to become potato again (as they are dehydrated) and then fry them up. These are especially delicious when you take them camping!
Bonus: Naturally Gluten FRee
- Baking Pans: These can be found at the Costco Business Center. They are great quality and a steal of a deal.
- Eggs
- Butter
These are just some of the gluten free things I love to purchase at Costco Canada. Tell me below what you love to buy there?
